If you saw our Instagram post last week then you have heard our fun news! Baby Donahoe #4 will be here April 2018. Im so excited because this is my first pregnancy that I'll be documenting on the blog.  With Hayes I was blogging but it was very sporadic. During my pregnancy with Hayes I blogged for Pregnancy and Newborn Magazine so most of my updates were done there and not my personal blog.  So this time around I'll be doing weekly pregnancy updates, sharing my pregnancy style, what my workouts and meals looks like (I'm determined to have a healthy pregnancy!) plus our regular blog post! 

We found out we were expecting right after I starting working. I remember crying asking Barrett if i would loose my job (hahahaha because he is my boss) and he reassured me that pregnancy women work everyday. I promise I knew this, I just remember panicking because  I JUST started working and I  absolutely love my job. 

People have been asking if we planned baby #4 or if it took us by surprise! The truth is we have always wanted to add one more to our bunch. We feel so blessed and thankful that God chose us to be parents again! You probably know that this is our fourth child but my third pregnancy. I gained the sweetest five year old son when Barrett and I got married! 

So now for the fun part! 


Morning Sickness 
#1. With Addie Rivers I was never nauseous or sick. I felt completely normal the first trimester! 
#2. Nausea ALL DAY EVER DAY...
#3. I had some nausea for a few weeks. It wasn't anything terrible and by now it's mostly gone (we are almost to he 2nd trimester) If I go too long in between meals it starts but usually goes away as soon as I eat. 

Weight Gain
I know most people don't gain weight at all the first trimester! 
#1. First trimester I didn't gain much but I ended up gaining forty pounds total. I walked at the beginning of my pregnancy but that was it. I ate wayyyy to much.
#2. I was running 3+ miles almost everyday when I got pregnant with Hayes. I continued to run up until about 7 months. I ate mostly healthy and felt great my entire pregnancy! 
#3. So far I've lost a few pounds. I haven't had much of an appetite and when I do I eat a few bites and feel SO full. I've been exercising but between work and the other two it's not as often as I would like! 

These have been the same so far for all three. Spicy, sour, and not to fond of chicken. 
I can't remember if this was true for the other two but this time I'm definitely wanting lots of fruit and salads!
