Last Minute Gift for the Guys

Hi loves!

It's crazy to think how quickly 2016 is passing. It's been a great but different year for us. It is still an adjustment but we are thankful for our big move we made last March.
Speaking of the big move that brings me to my husband. Girls I don't know about you but my Barrett is so hard to shop for. He usually gives me a good idea on what he wants but trying to surprise him is nearly impossible.
He was in serious need of a new watch. I was so excited to partner with JORD Wood Watches
When we got the watch in he was way more excited then I ever thought he would be.
If you are new to JORD Wood Watches they are extremely unique and well awesome. They are made from wood (hence the name) and that is Barrett's favorite part about it!

I've linked all of the places you can go to get your own Jord watch for the Holidays. Don't spend the last couple of weeks searching for a gift. Most people have big plans to ring in the new year. Make sure you are looking extra fabulous! Or dapper for the guys sake.

I'm so excited to get my very own Jord watch. I haven't found one that I didn't just fall in love with. Ladies, you can go here

and lastly you can find this exact watch here

I've got five coupon codes to give out so you can get yours at a discount rate! Simply send me a email  at balancinginhh@gmail.com and I'll send it right over!

I hope you all have an amazing week!

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday loves!

This is my first official fashion post and I'm pretty excited about it. If you remember back in August when I did my blog launch I talked about how I wanted to gear my blog more towards fashion because thats really where my heart has always been. (after my family of course!)
My husband was my photographer. The amount of pictures I have where I'm saying "STOP" is pretty hilarious. Why do husbands love to annoy us.

Anyway I'm pretty excited about my "Friday Favorites" post and I'm thinking its going to be a weekly thing for the blog.

I'm so obsessed with over sized cardigans. Ever fall and winter season they are my go to. I paired it with a simple black dress from target. Seriously why is target the best thing ever?
And can we just talk about Jessica Simpson shoes? Ive got these for a few years but when you find a good pair of shoes- you hang on to them forever!
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

xoxo, Ryann

Holiday Baking! Easy Reindeer Cookies with your littles

One of our favorite things about the
Holidays is getting to bake so many goodies! Addie Rivers has developed a love for baking just like her Mama. To be able to make precious memories that she will cherish forever makes me beyond happy.

This week we had the best time creating fun, easy reindeer cookies! If you are looking for a recipe to tackle with your littles well I've got you covered.

All you need is a few simple ingredients and there ya go! Simple (but oh so adorable) Holiday cookies. Grab you aprons, toddlers, and some Christmas music and let's get ready to bake!

What you'll need for the Reindeer Cookies-
•One bag of Betty Crocker peanut butter cookie mix
•One bag chocolate covered pretzels (of your choice)
•A few bags of M&M's

Directions-
•make cookie mix according to Betty Crocker peanut butter cookies
•bake cookies for about a minute less than the packaging calls for (this makes it easy when putting on the pretzels and M&M's)
•immediately when the cookies come out of the oven-place on two pretzels on top, two brown M&M's for eyes, and one red one for the nose

Seriously mama's, does it get any more simple than that?

Stay tuned for more fun baking this Holiday Season!!

You can find your betty crocker mix at Walmart!

Mama and Mini Style with Matilda Jane

Hello Friends!

I just need to start off by saying how much we adore Matilda Jane Clothing.
If you are from the south then you probably know what I'm talking about.
The absolute most adorable clothes for baby girls!
I use to think it was only for babies, BUT I found out that it's for babies, toddlers, little girls, tween girls and ladies. How perfect!?

This out I'm wearing is a dress from Matilda Jane. With the fall weather approaching I thought id turn my summer dress into something for fall. just simply tie it up on the side and throw on your jeans!
As for little girls, Addie River's dress is unreal. The designers of this company know exactly what they are doing! Everyone needs some MJ in their life!

Happy Friday- Featuring Nora's Nursery

Happy Friday friends!

These past two weeks have been CRAZY. We were dealing with two sick babies and now this mama thinks she's coming down with something. There should be a rule that mama's aren't aloud to get sick,  anyone else agree?

Today we are featuring Nora's Nursery, our favorite cloth diapering company!
I have a little confession to make. We went a couple of months not using a single cloth diaper. You guys, football season is crazy around our house. I tend to get so overwhelmed and well it was just easier on me to go the disposable route.

To be honest that's one of my favorite things about cloth diapers. You don't HAVE to use them every single day. We love them because they are convenient believe it or not!

How adorable are these diapers? Don't they just scream fall/winter.

Have you tried Lipsense!?

Hey girl.. look I know you've probably seen a ton of people talk about Lipsense, and you think to yourself, "there is no way that works." Well I'm here to tell you that IT DOES!
I have seen a few other bloggers share about Lipsense. I didn't give it much thought until my sweet friend Chole asked me if I had ever tried it.
This is one of my dear friends that I moved away from in March. I can't even explain how terribly I miss my Columbus gal pals.
When she asked me if I would be willing to try it I of course said yes.
And that's the end of it. I'm a fan, forever and always.
She sent me over the color "Napa" and it is PERFECT for fall.
If you are on the fence about trying it, have never heard of it, or you're just tired of reapplying lipstick all day you should check her out!
You can find her here and Facebook or here on instagram!

Transitioning to Fall with Pink Blush

I always think Summer is my favorite season. The sun, beach trips and being completely lazy. Now that I have babies I'm all about routine. When summer comes around that completely goes out the window. I'd be good with about one month of summer vacation.
I am SO excited for fall and this Pink Blush dress is perfect for it! With the weather still being warm but started to cool off this off of the shoulder dress is definitely in my fall wardrobe. You can dress it up but its also perfect for wearing on a day out with the fam.

and I can't forget the Kendra! Those earrings just scream fall.

How to throw an Awesome Peppa Pig Party!

We recently celebrated our baby girls' fourth birthday. I still can't believe she's four.
Everyone tells you how fast time flies when you have your own babies but you just don't believe it until you see it for yourself.

AR has been a Peppa Pig fanatic for about the past four years. For the longest time she spoke with an english accent when she referred to Peppa and honestly it was the cutest thing EVER.

She has been telling us for the past sixth months she wanted to have a Peppa Pig party. OMG how cute right!? Yeah I thought so too until I started researching Peppa decorations. Pretty much all I found were bundles of decorations on Amazon that had t be shipped from Japan. Not literally but you get the picture but this mama was not about to let down her soon to be four year old!

I took a day and searched Pinterest up and down and found some of the best ideas. A huge thank you to Britney Ashmore from www.theashmoresblog.com for sending me the link to her sweet girls Peppa party. It had some of the best ideas! Be sure to go check theirs out as well.

After I got some great ideas I took a trip to The Dollar Tree to get tons of crafts. Twenty five dollars later and I left with a buggy full of paper, streamers, poster boards, glue and markers. Five hours of non stop crafting and we had ourselves a house full of Peppa decorations!

I know some people don't like the idea of having birthday parties at home but I couldn't think f anything more perfect. I think being at home with your friends and family and making memories is the best kind of party.

All of the decorations were made from products from the Dollar Tree. Literally 25.00 dollars for decorations! For the food we just went by the "Peppa Pig" theme. We had a Potato city, muddy puddles, goldy fish, and Peppa sandwiches in the shape of "teddy bears and dinosaurs" Peppa and George's favs of course. All of the printable were from Pinterest. I searched Peppa printables and these were free! For the cake and cupcakes- We made boxed cake mix and homemade butter creme icing. The cake toppers were Peppa Pig figures and the cupcake toppers were printables.
Mix that all together and you've got an awesome Peppa Pig party!

xoxo
